Nursery Schools

The purpose of this program is to help 3-5 year-old children develop age-appropriate abilities. These include physical, social, emotional, cognitive, language, and numeracy. Our nursery schools are in Dhankawadi, Gokulnagar and Sukhsagar Nagar. Depending on their ages, students are enrolled in nursery, junior KG, or senior KG. The total number of students served during 2017-2022 is 273. All of the teachers are paid staff and possess professional qualifications. While students are charged a nominal fee, it is waived for those who cannot afford to pay. We also conduct workshops for parents to familiarize them with stages of child development using videos and participatory activities.

External Education (Academic support for school drop-outs)

Students drop out from school for a range of reasons. Some of them have financial difficulties and family problems. Others need additional help to learn at their own pace. We prepare such students to take the high school completion (10th and 12th standard) examinations as external (unaffiliated) students. These exams are conducted by the local (Maharashtra) State Board of Education and passing these exams opens many new job and education opportunities to these students.. While students are charged a nominal fee, it is waived for those who cannot afford to pay. The total number of beneficiaries during 2011-2022 is 1,769.
